Coming Back. Finally.

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably noticed the last post on this blog is dated somewhere around 2017–2018. A whole different era. A different version of me.

A lot has happened since then — a Master’s at CMU, co-founding a company, an acquisition, and somewhere in between all of that, this little corner of the internet quietly gathered dust.

Why I Stopped Writing Here

It wasn’t that I stopped having things to say. It was that writing for a public forum felt… heavy. Every post felt like it needed to be complete, polished, worthy of being permanent. The blank page had this strange pressure attached to it — if you’re putting it out there, it better be good.

So I migrated to safer waters. LinkedIn for professional wins and career reflections. Medium for the occasional longer thought. Platforms where the content is more transient, where the feed swallows it in a day, where imperfection is somehow more forgivable.

But something always felt missing. Those platforms aren’t really mine. This is.

What Changed

Honestly? A few things converged at once.

Working at the intersection of AI and creativity every day has fundamentally changed how I think about the cost of getting ideas out of your head and into the world. Tools like Claude and others have quietly lowered that cost in a way I didn’t fully appreciate until recently — not by writing for me, but by helping me take a rough, half-baked thought and actually finish it. The gap between thinking something and shipping something has never been smaller.

And that matters, because I have a backlog of things I’ve been sitting on. Experiments in Machine Learning that never quite made it out of a Jupyter notebook. UI/UX design explorations that stayed buried in Figma. Frontend playgrounds I built to make ML concepts more intuitive and visual. Business ideas and case studies I kept scribbling into notes apps at odd hours. And honestly, a lot more that doesn’t fit neatly into any one category. Ideas that got 80% of the way there and then stalled because life moved fast and I told myself “I’ll clean this up and post it later.”

Later is now, apparently.

What’s Coming

Over the coming months, I’m planning to share more of what I’ve been building and thinking about — messy edges and all. Some of it will be technical. Some of it will be about the broader questions around AI, creativity, and where this all goes. Some of it might just be a film recommendation, because khana, gaana, cinema se bada kuch nahin.

No promises on a schedule. But a genuine commitment to showing up more than once every seven years.

Good to be back. 🙂
